Can I say that the majority of us have all been there? We stare at the statements, sigh, look at our checking account, sigh again. It’s a tireless cycle. I was $30,000 in debt. I finally was so fed up with it.
There has to be an easier way.
I started looking at my income. I laid out all of my expenses. I got it all into a spreadsheet. It was crazy to see where the money was going. I got organized.
The Monthly Budget Sheet was just the first step. I needed to find a way to pay the debt down faster.
Through the Snowball Method, I was able to look at all of the interest and calculate how much I actually was ending up paying on TOP of the original amount borrowed. It was ridiculous.
Using both the Monthly Budget Sheet and the Snowball Template, I was able to chunk the debt and prioritize. Each payment I made helped to chip away at the debt in large amounts.
